Newsletters, Media & News Releases

T hirteen years ago, our organization was founded with the goal of bridging the gap for breast cancer patients and their families. We are learning more every day about the inequity of the delivery of health services to various populations and communities, and we are even more determined to help do our part. The mortality rate of breast cancer should not be higher in African American women, yet it is. We believe that Black Lives Matter.

We remain committed to looking at our work, our industry, our sector, and how we engage with broader audiences. We look at our mission – to educate, empower and support all communities affected by breast cancer – and consider how we make it true for more. We promise that we will keep listening and learning. We will seek new friendships and partnerships to make systemic change.
