SO YOU CAN FOCUS ON HEALTH
Pink Lemonade Project provides two financial assistance programs: Pink Practicalities and the Treatment Access Program (Toni Mountain Fund). The programs provide financial assistance to breast cancer patients who are experiencing hardship during treatment or recovery and who live and/or receive healthcare in Clark County, Washington and Oregon.
Pink Practicalities: Financial assistance includes food, transportation, lymphedema compression sleeves, neuropathy treatment, wigs, co-insurance for prostheses and surgical bras. Other types of requests for those in active breast cancer treatment and recovery will be considered like health insurance premiums and co-pays, and home technology (like Zoom, Uber Conference, or GoTo Meeting, etc.), and/or other urgent needs. Please include specific details of your needs, the approximate cost, and your situation in the application form.
Treatment Access Program (Toni Mountain Fund): Financial assistance includes gas, transportation, food and lodging for individuals who have barriers to their cancer treatment. Patients work with their healthcare provider to apply with application below. Criteria for support: person is at or below 250% of the federal poverty level, currently in treatment and live in SW Washington or Oregon.
See below for all the details, guidelines, and the application.

COVID-19 Program Expansion:
Specific to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pink Lemonade Project has received some recent additional financial support from some generous local foundations and donors to help expand Pink Practicalities support for those going through breast cancer right now. We are currently considering requests for assistance in covering health insurance premiums and co-pays, and home-technology (like Zoom, Uber Conference, or GoTo Meeting, etc), and/or other urgent needs.
The Treatment Access Program is administered by 211info and provides individuals who are at or below 250% of the federal poverty level and have barriers to their cancer treatment with gift cards.
Patients work with their healthcare provider to apply.
Other Guidelines for Pink Practicalities:
All requests will be reviewed.
We accept requests from those who live and/or receive care in Clark County, Washington, and the Portland metro area.
The maximum request considered will be approximately $1,000.
