How We Are Funded

GRATEFUL FOR SUPPORT
TO FULFILL OUR MISSION

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Pink Lemonade Project relies on broad community and individual support to fulfill our mission.

First and foremost, we have many individuals, businesses, and supporters from across the region who share a passion for helping those affected by breast cancer and want to contribute to our cause. We also get financial and in-kind support in the form of sponsorships from local companies and healthcare organizations.

Pink Carts

With the long-time partnership with Waste Connections, Pink Lemonade Project is able to offer pink recycling bins to residents of Clark County who have Waste Connections for their recycling service. For a donation of a minimum of $100, Waste Connections will swap out a Pink Cart for the standard blue bin at your home.

Pink Glow: The Party With a Purpose

Our signature fundraising event, Pink Glow is THE party with a purpose! The event includes a live auction, dynamic entertainment, silent auction packages, and a plated dinner. It’s a night to showcase our vital programs, share stories of local women affected by breast cancer and celebrate the achievements of the past year. With plenty of bubbly and spirits to go around, it’s always a glamorous night out to remember.

Our 2022 event will be held on May 6th at ilani Casino Resort. We’ll be posting sponsorship opportunities and details soon, so please check back!

Toni Mountain Fund for Treatment Access

Pink Lemonade Project is the new home for the Toni Mountain Fund for Treatment Access. This fund assists underserved breast cancer patients throughout Oregon and SW Washington with food, lodging, and transportation during their treatments. Toni Mountain is a long-time survivor and local breast health champion, who retired from Susan G. Komen Oregon & SW Washington. The Fund, established in 2014 to commemorate Mountain’s retirement, is a donor-designated fund that raises money to sustain the Treatment Access Program.

Girlfriends Walk/Run

Pink Lemonade Project will once again be the major beneficiary of the upcoming 15th annual Girlfriends Walk/Run on Oct. 10 by WHY Racing Events.

Girlfriends Walk/Run includes a 6K, 10K and half marathon to raise donations for breast cancer programs and services for patients in Oregon and SW Washington. Pink Lemonade Project invites the community to sign up as a Pink Brigade Guy or Glam Gal and raise or donate $500 or join the Walking Army. All registration details are available online.

Fundraisers Hosted by Others

Pink Lemonade Project is lucky to have individuals who set up their own fundraisers to help raise money for Pink Lemonade Project and the people we serve. Called third-party fundraisers, these events may occur during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month but not always. Contact us if you want to hold an event or fundraiser for Pink Lemonade Project. We likely have some sway to share or can provide you with material about our organization and cause.
