Experience a unique therapeutic event on Saturday, July 15th, 10:00am to 12:00pm at Mtn Peaks Therapy Llama & Alpacas in Ridgefield WA.

Opening circle will be facilitated by O.H.S.U Licensed Clinal Social Worker, Keren McCord.

Noemi, a person living with cancer, who was and continues to be helped by the llamas at Mtn Peaks, shared these thoughts:

“It’s often said that everyone’s cancer journey is unique. So it is no surprise that for some, like me, the traditional group therapy environment was not the right fit. Mtn Peaks Therapy Llamas are as untraditional as they come, with a whole herd of personalities that are as different as can be, you’re bound to make an exceptional connection. This connection is about experiencing the healing benefits of joy again, this moment that has nothing to do with cancer, but the unique light-hearted experience of being different together.”

The capacity for this event is limited. Please register if you are certain you are able to attend. If you need to cancel, please notify Pink Lemonade Project as this event will likely have a waitlist.

Come dressed in weather-appropriate clothes along with close-toed shoes as you will be engaging with large livestock. During rainy months, the pasture can be quite muddy, so come prepared with shoes to get dirty in. Even if under cover, we will be outside and in open-air environments throughout your visit. For this visit, children and pets are not allowed.
